Beloved Legend FM radio personality, Maree Stewart was buried in Suva Cemetery in Lovonilase.
Maree sadly passed away late last month, days after testing positive for COVID-19.
She was with Legend FM for 16 years.
Stewart’s close friend and former high school teacher Vivian Koster says Stewart was absolutely bubbly, full of fun and had a lively character.
She says her son who is on the autism spectrum is one reason she spoke out on the topic and raised awareness about the topic whenever she could and it was not uncommon for her to speak out. autism on the radio.
Koster says her contribution has been to raise autism awareness and tell everyone that she has a beautiful son who is so loving and loved him very much.
She says what she remembers the most about Maree is her relationship with Koster’s late mother.
Koster says his mother and Maree both had stalls at the ROC Market and each admired their baking and cooking skills.
