Hrazdan city named Armenian Youth Capital 2022 – Public Radio of Armenia
the city of Hrazdan was named the Armenian Youth Capital 2022.
In an official ceremony, Mayor Sevak Mikayelyan received the symbolic keys and a certificate.
Artur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Culture was also present at the solemn ceremony.
The events began with a march to the Immortal Heroes Memorial in Makravan district. The ceremony was attended by parents and relatives of the heroes of the Artsakh wars.
Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of works by young Hrazdan artists (painting, sculpture, decorative applied arts, etc.) was organized at the Creative Center for Children and Youth in Hrazdan.
Mayor Sevak Mikayelyan said the title of Youth Capital is binding and pledged to support young people in all constructive projects.
A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Hrazdan. The purpose of the memorandum is to promote the development of the city of Hrazdan, support youth initiatives, contribute to the development of infrastructure and the implementation of programs of youth organizations at local, national and international levels.
The festive day ended with a concert program. The entertainment will continue throughout the year.
