Phoenix Suns guard Aaron Holiday is active for Sunday’s game against the Utah Jazz after missing one game with right ankle pain.

Holiday was deemed questionable on Saturday and head coach Monty Williams told reporters “We’ll see” about his status on Sunday.

The Suns acquired the 25-year-old from the Washington Wizards at the trade deadline in exchange for cash consideration and a trade exception.

Holiday played four games with his new team before missing Friday’s game with the New Orleans Pelicans.

He’s scored 8.5 points in 16.2 minutes per game in all four contests, and he could be a key contributor with point guard Chris Paul out with a broken right thumb.

Cameron Payne, Frank Kaminsky and Dario Saric all remain absent for Phoenix.

Jazz striker Rudy Gay will play after being deemed doubtful with an illness unrelated to COVID-19. Guard Jared Butler is out for Utah with a sprained right ankle.

Phoenix hosts the Jazz at 1:30 p.m. The action will air on 98.7 FM Arizona Sports Station.
