The Masters Golf Tournament will be broadcast on Nine Radio’s chat platforms
The Masters, the most prestigious golf tournament in the world, will be broadcast live and exclusively on Nine’s suite of talk radio platforms from 4am on Thursday, April 7.
Masters Radio will broadcast on DAB+ in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, and a special pop-up stream will be available on 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR apps and websites, with great golf Tiger Woods ready to compete for the first prize.
McDonald’s is the proud presenting partner of this total audio innovation as Cameron Smith and Adam Scott lead the Australian charge at Augusta National, alongside other Australians Marc Leishman and beginners Min Woo Lee, Cameron Davis and Lucas Herbert.

Augusta’s live coverage will begin at 4:00am tomorrow with the Par 3 contest and continue Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, starting at 4:00am each day.
It comes after New Radio saw massive year-over-year growth with a 20% increase, as revealed by January audio streaming data.
2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR listeners tuned in via digital devices, as evidenced by a total of 9.328 million streams for the month of January 2022, a 26% increase from January 2021.
A total of 9.280 million hours of content were streamed, up 24% from the same month last year.
